Nicole Scherzinger Will Star In West End Revival Of “Cats”

Nicole Scherzinger keeps expanding her amazing musical resume, and she can now add the musical “Cats” to it, as she’s been casted in the West End revival.

Nicole Scheringer has met great success as the frontwoman of Robin Antin’s The Pussycat Dolls. Ever since the girlband broke up, she’s released her debut solo album, has another one on the way and has landed judging roles on both the American and British versions of The X Factor. The songstress now has made another major deal and that is to star in the revival of well-known musical, Cats, in London.

With her sophomore studio album, Big Fat Lie, on the way, Scherzinger just got herself up for a major treat. When Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats is revived in West End, she will be playing the glamorous cat, named Grizabella. The show will go on for eight shows a week, openning on December 11 and going all the way till February. Among other classic tracks, the former Pussycat Dolls bandmate will also be singing the well-known “Memory”.

Alongside Nicole Scherzinger, the musical stars a long list of performers, which consists of Cameron Ball (Macavity/Admetus), Kathryn Barnes (Tantomile), Cassie Clare (Cassandra), Ross Finnie (Skimbleshanks), Charlene Ford (Bombalurina), Adam Lake (Alonzo), Paul F Monaghan (Bustopher Jones/Asparagus/Growl Tiger), Joel Morris (Carbucketty), Natasha Mould (Jemima), Benjamin Mundy (Coricopat), Joseph Poulton (Quaxo/Mistoffelees), Nicholas Pound (Old Deuteronomy), Sophie Ragavelas (alternate Grizabella), Clare Rickard (Jellylorum/ Griddlebone), Adam Salter (Bill Bailey), Laurie Scarth (Jennyanydots), Hannah Kenna Thomas (Victoria/White Cat), Callum Train (Munkustrap), Zizi Strallen (Demeter) and Dawn Williams (Rumpleteazer).

Do you think Nicole will be able to pull it off? We say yes! Leave a comment and let us know what you think.
