Overly excited about the Kansas City Royals’ advancement to World Series for the first time in 29 years, Paul Rudd is throwing a house party at his mom’s.

Paul Rudd, Kansas City native, is excited and he has a good reason to be. The Kansas City Royals just advanced to the World Series for the first time in 29 years.

“This is amazing, the entire town feels it,” Rudd told KMBC 9 News on the field at Kauffman Stadium after Wednesday night’s (Oct. 15) historic win.

When asked what he was going to do to celebrate, Rudd responded, “Party at my mom’s house man! She’s out of town, I’ve got a keg. It’s going to be sweet,” Rudd joked. “Five dollar cover!”

Rudd grew up in the Kansas City Metro. He attended Shawnee Mission West and the University of Kansas.
