As a debut novel, this work is smartly written. It’s a story filled with a psychological twist, a murder-mystery, and an exceedingly interesting point of view. Narrated by a murdered girl, readers see how the family copes with the loss as well as how the murderer tries to escape conviction. Hauntingly beautiful and breathtaking, this story is unlike any out there.
