The 2014 London Comic Con Was The Biggest One Yet!

The 2014 London Comic Con had some amazing panels, actors and cosplay for this year’s attendees, ensuring that next year will be even bigger.

The MCM Expo London Comic Con was held this past weekend (October 24th – 26th) and it was their year biggest yet! Tickets for the weekend sold out fast on their website.

First off, I only attend for cast members and I don’t cosplay so I can’t really say much about a lot of the booths/events there, but the majority of people who attend go all out and have some of the best costumes I’ve ever seen.

Not only did Daniel Radcliffe attend the event, he did a panel and as well as a FREE signing for his new movie Horns, which was for a select few of attendees who won a raffle to meet him.

Under The Dome cast members Mackenzie Lintz (Norrie), Grace Victoria Cox (Melanie) and Aisha Hinds (Carolyn) were in attendance and did a panel in which they sneakily tried to say “meow” as many times as possible without the audience knowing. But by the end of the panel a fan asked them which one of them was winning, and the cast as well as the audience laughed!

Gotham had a booth where fans could take pictures with cosplay actors dressed at characters from Batman in front of a huge picture of the Gotham cast. Posters of the cast and other goodies were also being handed out.

Teen Wolf writer and producer Jeff Davis as well as stars of the show Dylan Sprayberry (Liam) & Arden Cho (Kira) did a panel. They answered some questions about the upcoming season and fans went crazy when Jeff said the new season could be their last. They also did a free signing, which was insane! The line to meet them was so long, they kept running out of pictures to sign so event staff had to keep printing more.

I only managed to meet Dylan and that took an hour because of how insane their signing was; I’ve never seen anything like it before.

One downside of the event was the printers for photoshoot pictures kept jamming because of the high demand, which meant some guests had to wait a really long time to receive their pictures. The staff did their best to get the issue fixed asap.

It’s always good fun and I can’t wait for the next expo in May; it’s definitely worth attending!
