Now this is some serious news.
The head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, confirmed this bit of news in an interview with social media powerhouse BuzzFeed.
He can be quoted as such:
“The Avengers films, ideally, in the grand plan are always big, giant linchpins. It’s like as it was in publishing, when each of the characters would go on their own adventures and then occasionally team up for a big, 12-issue mega-event. Then they would go back into their own comics, and be changed from whatever that event was. I envision the same thing occurring after this movie, because the [Avengers] roster is altered by the finale of this film.”
Some speculate this to simply mean that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch will stay on, but others believe that it will be far more drastic, with a divided team allied with Captain America in a lead-up to Civil War.
Who else had to change their panties? I’m gushing with a mighty need.
Check out Avengers: Age of Ultron when it blasts into a theater near you! … Or far from you. I don’t know. I don’t judge… much.
