It’s been one hell of a year for ABC, which cancelled both its brand-new comedies, Manhattan Love Story and Selfie. However, the network has renewed a whole lot of shows and renewed others, with Forever being the latest addition to the list. As it seems, the television series is receiving a full season.
Forever was added to ABC’s schedule this year and has been performing quite wonderfully. With only 7 episodes shown so far, a total of 22 were ordered to wrap up the show’s premiering season. The supernatural drama managed to beat the odds and join How To Get Away With Murder and Black-ish in the list of new series with a full season order. It’s true that, despite the exciting story, not a lot of people expected the show to get additional episodes for a proper first season.
The show tells the story of Dr. Henry Morgan, an immortal medical examiner, as he goes from case to case. The Warner Bros. Television-produced show stars Ioan Gruffudd, Judd Hirsch, Alana De La Garza, Joel David Moore, Barbara Eve Harris and Donnie Keshawarz.
