DC Comics recently presented their full schedule of releases for the next six years. Among Justice League and Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad is also included in the long list of projects to come from the franchise and it seems the film might have just found its Joker.
As recently reported, Warner Bros. have been in discussions with Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman, Jared Leto. The multi-talented actor and singer is now the most possible candidate for the role, after Ryan Gosling failed to strike a deal due to his obligation for multiple other films. He has yet to comment on the rumor, and DC has remained silent about the news as well.
Fans are already getting excited for his role, even though there’s still no official confirmation. Other actors we might possibly end up seeing on Suicide Squad include Tom Hardy, Will Smith and Margot Robbie. The only official name so far is the one of Jessie Eisenberg, who will play Lex Luthor.
Suicide Squad is scheduled to arrive in theaters on August 5, 2016.
