It was nothing less than heart warming to witness one of the best TV families of the 80s/90s era, reunite on “The Talk“ for Roseanne’s 62nd birthday.
Roseanne showed up, looking amazing, and as “The Talk’s” co-host and her TV daughter, Sara Gilbert, (expecting a child with her wife Linda Perry) began to wish her a happy birthday, she had a little more in store for her. As a birthday surprise, not only did Laurie Metcalf (her sister on “Roseanne”) video phone in to wish her well, out came Michael Fishman (the adorable DJ on the show) and Alicia Goranson.
Goranson shared a very “Roseanne Barr” story about a time when she wanted her hair cut and the producers refused, so Roseanne took things into her own hands, literally. Fishman described how motherly Roseanne still remains to him to this day, taking him to lunch to catch up with him when she found out he was engaged.
All in all, it was a treat to see them all doing so well and thriving in their own right.
