If this very strong rumor is true, then we could be in for one of the most sinister and brilliant Bond villains ever, as Christoph Waltz is reportedly signing up to play the villain in the next Bond film.
The film will see the return of Daniel Craig as the iconic superspy, and Sam Mendes will direct once again, after the incredibly well-received Skyfall in 2012, that boasted an equally brilliant villain in Academy Award-winner Javier Bardem.
The news of Waltz being cast was confirmed by Baz Bamigboye, a journalist for the Daily Mail. According to Bamigboye, the film will shoot in December in various locations, including Morocco, Mexico, Austria (where Waltz’s character will presumably be based) and London.
The film is untitled right now, and will be released in late 2015.
