I just want this over and done with. Seriously, what happened to her testing “poorly”?
TMZ is exclusively reporting that Kathy Griffin will indeed replace the late, great Joan Rivers on Fashion Police, joining Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic. There has been no word on whether George Kotsiopoulos will be back.
The other major change? The series plans to abandon its weekly format and will only air during awards shows and on special occasions.
So there you have it.
All of this comes after a report made the rounds online that Kathy was “poorly” received as a host when she auditioned for the series. Earlier this month, Kathy herself confirmed that she had been approached about joining the series. She stated, “I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time. I really hope they continue in the spirit of Joan’s work.”
It sounds as though E! has made their decision.
