Taylor Swift Doubles Youtube Views After Leaving Spotify

Taylor Swift has become the talk of the town after removing all of her music from Spotify, but it seems her Youtube views were doubled after that!

Taylor Swift has made quite a fuss with the release of her latest studio album, 1989, and a lot of the talk has been about removing all her music from Spotify. A lot of people said that it would be a loss for her. As it seems though, her departure from the free music streaming service has managed to double her views on Youtube.

Spotify could no longer allow users to stream Taylor Swift’s music on November 3, when the songstress Youtube views were somewhere around 12.5 million per day. A week later, the numbers reached a new peak of 24 million views a day. The following week helped the number of her views rise even higher, with the premiere of the music video for “Blank Space”. She doesn’t seem to be in need of Spotify after all, does she?

The songstress expressed her point of view regarding the removal of her back catalog from Spotify, saying it seems like an experiment and she wouldn’t want her work and that of her co-workers be part of it. More specifically, Taylor Swift revealed her feelings that the network doesn’t compensate the effort behind the final result and that music shouldn’t be free after all.

No matter what, Taylor keeps on winning so there’s no point in further discussing those matters, is there?
