Ryan Knight, cast member of the 2010 season of MTV’s Real World: New Orleans, passed away suddenly at the age of 29. According to a report from TMZ, Knight had been out partying with friends on Wednesday night and was found dead Thursday morning. Friends stated that Knight had choked on his own vomit. Others who had been in contact with Knight on Wednesday stated that Knight had taken “some pills” without specifying what kind of pills he had taken.
In addition to Real World: New Orleans, Knight also appeared on The Challenge: Rivals II, The Challenge: Battle of the Exes II and The Challenge: Battle of the Seasons. Knight’s death follows that of another MTV reality star, Diem Brown, who passed away on November 14th after battling cancer.
Knight’s friends and cast members have publicly expressed their grief on Twitter, sharing thoughts, memories, and photos of their time with him. MTV invited fans to leave their thoughts and remembrances on their post about Knight’s death.
