Sources say that soccer legend David Beckham is “lucky to be alive” after a car accident which occurred over the weekend.
Beckham, 39, was leaving after picking up his 15 year old son Brooklyn from his soccer match, where they were playing with Arsenal’s U-16 team at Arsenal’s training ground near Hertfordshine, England on Saturday morning when the crash occurred. Most of the damage occurred on the driver side of Beckham’s Audi, but there were thankfully no injuries. The cause of the accident has not been released.
The accident could have been much worse than it was, with a source stating, “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine.” The two occupants of the other car were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
