Pottermore, the interactive mega-site developed by J.K. Rowling for the Harry Potter book series announced via Twitter that Christmas will be coming early.

Starting on December 12th, a “surprise gift” will appear on the site at 1pm GMT (8am EST) every day until December 23rd! Of course, it’s J.K. Rowling we’re talking about, so in order to access the gift, you will need to unlock it by answering riddles each time. But let’s be honest, for most Harry Potter fans, solving the riddles is half the fun.
The site revealed that among the gifts, there will be new potions added, games, and… *drum roll* new short story moments from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!!
So, grab a pint of butterbeer, put on your best Weasley sweater, and unlock some Christmas magic on Pottermore this December!
