Jupiter Ascending is The Wachowskis’ forthcoming space opera, starring Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum. With its promotion recently kicked off, the film now had a few new posters and an extended spot for television unleashed.
The film tells the story of Jupiter Jones, a girl allegedly destined for great things. However, she’s grown up to be more of an ordinary girl and cleaning other people’s houses doesn’t look quite like the bright future she expected. Not until she met Caine did she start getting her destiny fulfilled, as he was sent on Earth to find Jupiter and get her on the way to her legacy – apparently, she’s all royal and should own the entire planet. As expected, Jupiter Ascending features bad space guys who want Earth for themselves and will be giving her a hard time over having it. Take a look at the extended spot below.
Jupiter Ascending is the first sci-fi film directed by The Wachowskis since The Matrix trilogy. The character posters portray Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), Caine Wise (Channing Tatum), Balem Abrasax (Eddie Redmayne) and Stinger (Sean Bean).
