Da Vinci’s Demons has proved to be one of Starz’s winning television series, as it was renewed for a third season. With the new episodes on the way for next year, the network has now gone and revealed the very first teaser for the show.

The short clip is only 20 minutes long, but it manages to catch the viewer’s attention and give an interesting first glimpse at what is to come on Da Vinci’s Demons. Leonardo is found drawing his own sketches of a new creation, which ends up causing a whole lot of destruction. Even though not in his original plans, the artist might just have caused one hell of a mess.

The third season of Da Vinci’s Demons will introduce Breaking Bad‘s John Shiban as a new showrunner. Reportedly, he is looking to make the scenes bolder and make them completely character-centric. It will definitely be interesting to see his portrayal of the Ottoman’s invasion, as well as the way it will affect Leonardo, Riario, Lucrezia and everyone else on the show.
