Is David Duchovny returning to television? If we read his hints correctly, he is!
The Twin Peaks and The X-Files star recently told the LA Times that he believes Twin Peaks will be returning. In the television drama, Duchovny played Denise Bryson, a DEA agent. When asked about the return of the series, Duchovny said:
“Seems like it. I would bet on it if I were you. I think Twin Peaks is happening for sure. I hope my character comes back, I think she does.”
Other Twin Peaks actors who have already been confirmed to return include Dana Ashbrook, Sheryl Lee, Kyle MacLachlan, and Sherilyn Fenn.
Duchovny’s other series, The X-Files, may also be returning. There has reportedly been some talk at FOX about bringing the series back. In the past, Duchovny said that he would like to play Fox Mulder again, but only “for a limited run.”
