Netflix To Develop Live-Action Legend Of Zelda Series

Netflix and Nintendo are teaming up to bring us gamers the ultimate prize: a live-action Legend of Zelda series! Hopefully they follow through!

“Hyahh!” “Yahh!” “Huh Huh!” Did you not get that? Netflix is developing a live-action Legend of Zelda series!

Legend of Zelda is a series originally made by Nintendo. It has remained one of the most popular games in the franchise. Now, Netflix wants to reimagine this game in a live-action series! I am a bit skeptical about this, because most remakes of games into movies/shows have not really happened the way us die hard fans expect. I do love Netflix, so I have high hopes they will prevail in making this spectacular.

They are planning to follow the original in-game storyline for the most part. A young boy named Link is summoned to save Princess Zelda, who is from the mystical land of Hyrule! Unlike, Game of Thrones, they plan on making this series more kid-appropriate.

It makes sense they will be working with Nintendo on this, and Nintendo is all about family-built games. They are still on the hunt for a writer for this series, but I do hope it comes to light, before Netflix or Nintendo shuts it down.

Please Netflix, don’t dangle a carrot in front of us gamers and not let us watch this! I am really intrigued about this series and have high hopes for it. What do you think about this development?
