After a long time of trying to make it to the music scene, Sky Ferreira has finally managed to establish herself as a musician. With a respectable back catalog in fashion as well, the next stop for her is acting and it seems she’s now off to a strong start.
The Trust is an independent crime thriller which stars Oscar winner Nicolas Cage and Lord Of The Rings alum Elijah Wood. Even though there are no specific details just yet, Sky Ferreira has reportedly signed in for the film. The two gentlemen will be playing a couple of corrupted cops responsible for the evidence room, who join their forces for a robbery. Filming for the Benjamin and Alex Brewer directed movie is currently taking place in Los Angeles.
For the record, Sky Ferreira has acted before, but she’s only now landing the first major roles of her career. Alongside The Trust, she will be starring in Elvis & Nixon, right next to Kevin Spacey, Michael Shannon and Alex Pettyfer. In addition to that, you’ll also be able to catch her in Eli Roth’s upcoming horror film, The Green Inferno.
