Welcome To Dungeons & Dragons & Delirium

Check out the IndieGoGo campaign for the Emerson student film, Dungeons & Dragons & Delirium, and help make it a reality!

We’ve all seen the occasional D&D reference in popular culture. Heck, some of our favorite characters have admitted to attending campaigns on their nights off!

Enter Dungeons & Dragons & Delirium, a student film that follows a slacker named Terry around his humdrum day job, while by night he is a D&D enthusiast.

The film’s campaign synopsis reads:

“The film follows Terry, a dead end diner worker and Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast, who must endure a shift under the influence of drugs while under the watchful eyes of restaurant management.

Running late to work with a cold after a late D&D game, Terry takes what he thinks are cold meds from his co-worker so he can be at his best when Corporate arrives to evaluate the restaurant’s franchise license. Unfortunately for Terry, he learns he’s actually taken a synthetic drug, Dungeons-and-Dragons-themed hallucinations ensue, and a robber takes the diner by gunpoint.”

Whoa! That sounds awesome!

The film is being produced by Emerson College students Alex Powell, Julia Gutierrez, Asa Reed, and Tyler Stoudt for Intermediate Film Production (Film II).

If you want to see this film become a reality (and if you say nay, we know you’re lying) head on over to their IndieGoGo campaign page! Contributors can win a digital download, a movie poster, and even get their picture on the Employee of the Month wall in the film itself!
