There’s literally no stopping Hozier, now that he’s got himself one hell of a smash with “Take Me To Church”. Even though he’s released several singles in his local market, he’s only picked “Work Song” as the second international one now and premiered the accompanying music video.
Directed by Isaac Ravishankara, the visuals find the Irish crooner taking the stage to perform the track in front of a live audience. People in the crowd eventually start dancing, but some are not quite your regular partners. There’s some serious choreography involved, offering a show equally good to the one on stage. It’s totally unexpected, yet really beautiful and entertaining at the same time. It’s true that Hozier really knows how to bring his songs to life, isn’t it?
Even though “Work Song” serves as only the second international single, it’s the fifth one to be lifted from Hozier, his debut, eponymous studio album, overall.
