Destiny’s Child To Reunite For Tour…But Is Matthew Knowles In The Way?

Destiny’s Child could face new trouble if they want to move forward with a reunion tour: Matthew Knowles!!

Kind of.

Last weekend, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland joined their Destiny’s Child group mate Michelle Williams on stage at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

The trio reunited to perform Michelle’s nominated track ‘Say Yes’, but when they hit the stage, they weren’t introduced as Destiny’s Child.

They were introduced on stage by their individual names, simply because of one MAJOR moment that could be on the horizon. According to reports, the girls are planning a reunion tour AND album this year, which coincides as the 10th anniversary of their last studio album ‘Destiny Fulfilled’.

The girls are said to be working out ways to hit the road together without using the Destiny’s Child name because Bey’s father Matthew Knowles has a one-fourth ownership in the group. They are trying to avoid having him involved and earning money from it.

While Matthew managed the group, he also managed each girl’s solo career. Kelly as the first to axe him back in 2009, Michelle followed suit in 2010, and Beyonce finally said goodbye to her father in 2011 after accusing him of stealing money from her.

So what name will they perform under if they do reunite? Will they simply go by their own names…..

But will they be able to perform their mega hits?
