The MTV Movie Awards are airing later today, and though stars will gather to celebrate the biggest movies of the year, I’m personally more anxious for a first look at Scream, the television series. The Scream series will receive an official release date, as well as the first trailer, presented by Bella Thorne, who has been known as the “Casey Becker” of the series. MTV additionally released the title card for the horror show that maintains the looks of traditional Scream font and keeps the original title. (Not “Hush,” which others speculated because of a casting sheet floating around.)
Turning my all time favorite horror franchise into a television series is a potentially epic horror event for devoted fans and MTV, therefore this trailer will give fans an idea of what we can expect to witness in the cult-classic horror adaptation. Fingers crossed we also get a look at the new killer’s mask; I’m dying to know if this looks strays from the original or pays homage to the Ghostface appearance.
