124-lb Mom Demolishes Three 72-Ounce Steaks In Eating Competition

124-lb mother of four, Molly Schuyler, won the eating competition by a landslide by downing three complete 72-ounce steak dinners in twenty minutes.

Gluttony, thy name is woman. Or at least one woman in particular. Molly Schuyler proved women can be just as voracious as men in the competitive eating world during the recent steak dinner challenge held at the Big Texan Steak Ranch restaurant in Amarillo, Texas.

The 124-lb mother of four won the eating competition by a landslide by downing three complete 72-ounce steak dinners in twenty minutes. Each dinner consisted of a monster steak, baked potato, side salad, roll, and shrimp cocktail. Just the steaks alone weighed over 13 lbs. Schuyler’s time also set a new record for the challenge, which has been taking place since 1960.

While it may seem surprising that a petite lady would beat out professional wrestlers and football players in the challenge, it all makes more sense when you discover that Schuyler is actually a seasoned pro when it comes to the “sport” of competitive eating. Molly’s other past gastronomical accomplishments include devouring 363 chicken wings in thirty minutes.

Schuyler left the competition with not only a full belly, but also a fat wallet. The win nabbed her $5,000 in prize money.

If you’re feeling exceptionally hungry, the Big Texan also offers a daily version of the challenge open to anyone. If you can eat the entirety of one of the 72-ounce steak dinners in under an hour, the meal is free. If not, you have to fork over $72. Dessert isn’t included, so leave some room.
