Being that Tiger Woods was in the center of a high-profile sex scandal, in which he was linked with several women while married to his former wife Elin Nordegren, it is not surprising that when it was announced that pro-golfer and skier Lindsey Vonn would be ending their three-year relationship, some people speculated that it may be due to infidelity.
But as it turns out, a source close to Tiger Woods has revealed that this is not the case.
Speaking to People. the source had this to say: “I know everyone is hoping for a cheating scandal, but it’s not. There was no real drama.”
Another source also said that the cause of the split is something less serious and that the former couple are still amicable.
“What Tiger and Lindsey said is true: they have busy schedules and busy lives, and that sunk their relationship. But they don’t hate each other. Not at all,” said the source, who was referring to the statement released by both Woods and Vonn separately.
On her Facebook page, the skier had posted that: “I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. ” She also added that she “will always and admire and respect Tiger,” which shows no hint of any ill will, seeming to corroborate what both sources have said.
