Goodbye David Letterman: Legendary Host Signs Off In Star Studded Finale

Legendary late night host David Letterman signed off last night after 33 years hosting ‘The Late Show’

Anyone else get choked up watching Dave say goodbye last night?

Don’t lie. You all did.

Last night, legendary late night host David Letterman said goodbye after 33 years as the host of ‘The Late Show’, and it was a star studded affair. Dave promised right out the gate that he didn’t want to get emotional, and shockingly….

He didn’t.

The laughs however came fast & furious as we’ve all come to expect from the King of Late Night television.  For a very special Top 10 list, Dave enlisted some celebrity friends and the results were hilarious!

Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Barbara Walters (who was possibly drunk?), Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Peyton Manning, Tina Fey, Jim Carrey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Bill Murray all joined forces.

HA!

That ‘Seinfeld’ bit was PERFECT, Jim was hysterical as always, Bill Murray is always funny and seriously?

Barbara seemed drunk right?

Dave never actually had anyone sit down for a final interview, however we were all treated to clips from over the years that brought back many memories….

And many laughs.

Who could forget all of his segments with the kids over the years?  Or that infamous Taco Bell sketch?

The night took a reflective turn then, as the minutes were winding down, Dave finally began to thank everyone who made the past 33 years possible.

Check out his final monologue below:

Closing the night, Dave Grohl and the rest of the guys in the Foo Fighters returned to close out Dave’s legendary run.

Thanks Dave.
