Detroit Zoo Names Warthog Piglets After ‘Game of Thrones’ Characters

Winter is Warthogs are coming.

The Detroit Zoo welcomed five Warthog piglets to their family on May 27th… Meet Sansa, Cersei, Daenerys, Tyrien, and Hodor!

That’s right, the new additions to the Warthog family were named after characters from our beloved Game of Thrones.

The mastermind behind the decision to name the piglets after GoT characters hasn’t been named, but I think he deserves some type of award.

Great name choices! Although I’d swap Sansa for Arya and Hodor for Jon Snow.
