Ariana Grande loves talking to her fans on twitter and popcrush revealed one of those conversations that contained exciting news! She revealed to an excited fan that both her new album and the lead single will be called “Moonlight”. News spread like wildfire through social media as Grande revealed that this song is “very near and dear to her heart.”
The singer teased that even though we have a while to wait for her new stuff, she will give us a snippet soon. She’s been teasing fans with her fascination in regards to moonlight causing them to speculate what it means. It has been the only word in her bio on twitter. A fan asked if moonlight was the name of her new fragrance in late April but she teased back, “also no ‘moonlight’ isn’t the fragrance name… jusss somethin i like … a lot”.
It is speculated that Grande penned this song with Victoria Monet who wrote “My Everything” with her, according to MTV. If this song is anything like “One Last Time” it will be a hit for me as that song currently pulls at my heart strings every listen. Nothing will stop this 21 year old songstress.
