Is Melissa Rivers Replacing Mom Joan On Fashion Police?

Should have been what they did in the first place. Rumors are swirling that Melissa Rivers could be taking over Fashion Police from her late mother Joan.

They should have done this in the first place……or you know, just cancelled it!!!

Rumors are swirling right now that ‘Fashion Police’ executive producer Melissa Rivers is going to replace her late mother Joan Rivers on the show.

Word coming in is that Melissa would take on the role of panel moderator, which her mother hilariously owned until her tragic passing. The shows exact return is currently unknown, but taping is set to begin August 31st, presumably for the upcoming awards season.

New York Daily News is reporting:

“Melissa‘s going on.

She is so happy, she is excited. The idea actually came from her. The bosses like it. It’ll be a tribute to her mom, and Melissa‘s the one who understands how it’s done. She can pull it off.”

There is also no word yet on who will be joining Melissa when the show does return. Kelly Osbourne has exited, and Kathy Griffin of course did as well. That would leave embattled hostess Giuliana Rancic and newcomer Brad Goreski.

There were rumors that many celebs were in the running for the gig, including former ‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera as well as Khloe Kardashian.
