Jurassic World Stomps All Over Box Office Records

Chris Pratt must be smiling. Guardians Of The Galaxy was an instant hit, and his next box office smash recently became the first movie ever to earn over $500 million in an opening weekend.

It snatched the record from Marvel’s The Avengers, which held the record with just over $200 million…Dinosaurs beat superheroes, apparently!

The sequel, which cost $150 million to make, is well on its way to making over a billion dollars, giving a much-needed boost to box office numbers, which have been down recently.

Pratt recently announced that he has signed on for another Jurassic movie, too, and with figures like that, who can blame him?
