Jon Stewart Loses It Over Donald Trump

Jon Stewart has a few things to say about Donald Trump…and his hair…and his word choices…and everything else….

Donald Trump’s recent remarks claiming that John McCain is not a war hero certainly got everyone talking. But only one man responded with pure giddiness and ecstasy: Jon Stewart.

The host of The Daily Show, upon returning from the show’s two week hiatus, described Trump like a deity, a comedy beacon among bleak headlines bearing bad news. “And then he appeared,” Stewart says before launching into a hilarious barrage of Trump that lasts nearly ten minutes. This, of course, included a spot-on impression of Trump.

Then, after criticizing Trump’s comments towards McCain, a bone spur on Trump’s foot, and his overall mean-guy demeanor, Stewart hits him where it hurts: Trump’s hair. “That is comedy entrapment,” Stewart says about Trump’s allegations that his hair is “just fine.” All this before Stewart erupts into a giggle fit, barely being able to communicate how much he loves Donald Trump for giving him so much material.

And that’s not all. With the help of Paul Rudd and Daily Show Correspondent Jordan Klepper, Stewart springboards off of Trump’s campaign into a segment discussing the possibility of “the first openly asshole president.”  As Klepper and Rudd point out, Trump would be not only be an inspiration, he would be “a giant leap for ass kind.”

The two weeks remaining until Stewart retires from The Daily Show on August 6 are sure to be packed with more snarky criticism of the “chatroom troll emoji” as he continues his presidential campaign, which is sure to be, comically, a literal gold mine.
