Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may still be months away from released but fans are getting another inside look into the upcoming epic DC/Warner Brothers film.
Many fans are still riding the exciting high from the released Batman v Superman SDCC trailer and now are getting treated to exclusive pictures inside Empire‘s September issue.
Empire
The first picture is Henry Cavill’s Superman standing in what’s expected to be Wayne Manor’s remains. Other than Cavill finally sporting the classic hair curl that people associate with the Man of Steel, one could expect that Superman is trying to gather information about the Caped Crusader. (Perhaps Superman can see the remains of the old Batcave?)
Empire
In the next picture, we see Ben Affleck’s Batman in an armored suit (just like in the Dark Knight Returns story arc), probably made for the highly anticipated fight between Batman and Superman. The picture seems to give off the impression that Batman is waiting by the Bat signal to lure his opponent out before the big fight.

The last picture shows Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor standing in a slightly hipster-esque version of Lex Corp. This seems to be building the villain as a young super genius who will eventually antagonize Superman regularly. Luthor still has hair in this picture, perhaps showing that the events within the film will lead to the classic bald-headed-bad-guy everyone knows. Even the shirt he’s wearing may be of significance to Gorilla Grodd in the DC Universe.
There’s still no clear answer for how everything in the film will pan out to lead to the Justice League. The only way for anyone to get any legitimate answers is to wait until March 25, 2016 and watch DC’s two powerhouses of superheroes square off in the fight everyone has been waiting for.
