There’s no chance you are a dance music fan and have never heard of New Jersey trio Cash Cash before. Samuel Frisch, Alex and Jean Paul Makhlouf have now released their brand-new single, “Devil”, a collaboration with rappers Busta Rhymes and B.o.B., as well as pop sensation Neon Hitch.
Once the first note comes in and Neon Hitch sings her hook beautifully on top of the piano-’n’-beats production, you instantly think that Cash Cash have returned with yet another infectious EDM banger, only a bit more hip-hop infused. However, “Devil” is a far more urban tune. To begin with, both Busta Rhymes and B.o.B. deliver their rap verses perfectly in between the hooks, while there’s a massive, twerk-ready trap breakdown that makes the tune a long-time dancefloor anthem. Upon first listen, the song sounds like it has potential to do wonders for the trio and most likely, it will.
“Devil” is a follow-up to the trio’s collaboration with Tritonal, “Untouchable”, and serves as yet another offering from their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled, fourth studio album. This upcoming record will be the first full-length release for Cash Cash since 2012′s The Beat Goes On. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear more exceptional tunes from them soon, but until then, take a listen to “Devil” below.
