Marvel’s Most Wanted: SHIELD Spin-Off Gets Pilot Order

It’s been known for a while that an Agents Of SHIELD spin-off was in development at ABC, but it was later announced that they wouldn’t move forward with it. However, things have finally changed, as the network has ordered a Marvel’s Most Wanted pilot!

The new comic-based drama will revolve around the lives of SHIELD agents and lovers Bobbi Morse (Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter, played by Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood respectively. The two will star in the upcoming pilot, as the season finale of Agents Of SHIELD found their characters wanting to start over in a different way. Even though we have yet to find out if ABC will give Marvel’s Most Wanted the series treatment, it is only normal to consider both Bobbi and Hunter gone from SHIELD.

Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski left their SHIELD production duties aside for a while, in order to write the pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted. If a series order follows, the two will serve as showrunners and will be executive producing alongside Marvel’s TV boss Jeph Loeb. Sources close to the project have suggested that it will not be a spin-off, but a totally different show of its own. Whatever the case, we’ll just have to wait and see.
