Exclusive: Upcoming Talent Leo Davis Premieres New Mash-Up Video With PopWrapped

Up-and-coming artist, Leo Davis, has shared his new mash-up video exclusively with PopWrapped. If you like One Direction and Justin Bieber, this is for you!

Determined to make his mark on the music scene, PopWrapped is delighted to exclusively premiere upcoming R&B, alt-pop artist Leo Davis’ new live recorded, self-produced mash-up video of One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” and Justin Bieber’s “Where Are u Now.” This release marks the first of many, with others scheduled across the rest of the year.

This isn’t Leo’s first foray into music. He first picked up an instrument, the flute, aged 9, followed by the marimba at 12 and found himself with a short-term love of the French horn aged 17. He grew up printing out the lyrics to his favourite songs by the likes of Motion City Soundtrack before recording himself singing them by leaving a message on the family answering machine.

For a time, he shied away from performing in front of others before, while attending university, David found himself performing solos in front of hundreds of people as part of the schools’ choir.

After leaving university and moving to Harlem, he continued pursuing his interest in music by working as a publicist for Effective Immediately PR which specialized in marketing independent and upcoming artists. Earlier this year, he left EI to pursue his ultimate dream – his own career in music, and with his first release now online, he’s not looking back.
