It sure was a Big Weekend in Manchester, England and Sir Ian McKellen leading  the Manchester Pride Parade was one of the highlights.

The award-winning Manchester Pride Festival has taken place in the Gay Village section of Manchester, England for 25 years.  The Big Weekend is the capstone to the annual charity fundraising event. While lots of great events happen over the course of the festival,  Sir Ian is the grand-daddy of them all.  

Let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to go on a journey with Gandalf?
