Rejoice Ghostbusters fans! The reboot finished filming on September 19, which means we are that much close to seeing some funny ladies! In more exciting news, Ernie Hudson of the original films was seen on set! There are also rumors that Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray will be involved through cameos.

This version of Ghostbusters will include four funny ladies: Kristen Wig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. If you’ve seen any of these ladies in their films or on SNL, you know they can pack a hysterical punch! Guess who else will show up in this film. Chris Hemsworth will be in the film, as well as Andy Garcia — two phenomenal actors. The director has a beautiful vision for this film, and I have nothing but enthusiasm. Director Paul Feig has said:
I love the original film, but I also just love the idea of busting ghosts and kind of paranormal warriors. I thought, ‘You know, if I could do this with the funny women I know and kind of just do a new origin story…’ I’m more interested in what would happen today.
The film has a release date set for July 15, 2016.
