Being harassed while simply walking down the street is nothing new, unfortunately. There has been a lot of discussion on whether things like catcalls, shouted obscenities, and wolf whistles are harmful in any way, but a lot of women (and men) feel uncomfortable walking alone, particularly at night.

Sarah Teale, a reporter for the BBC, took the streets recently to file a piece on street harassment. While filming, she was shouted at by a man, harassing her on the street. 

In the video, she is heard saying:

An online study showed that a shocking 95% of people said they had been harassed, jeered at, or had obscenities shouted at them in the street and a large proportion said they’d also been groped or grabbed inappropriately in public.

A comment, which was bleeped out by the BBC before posting online, was directed at Teale. She points off screen to the man and says, “Yeah, like that” before making an exasperated gesture toward the camera.

Teale tweeted later about the incident:
