Exclusive: SUNS Premiere New Track “The Void” With PopWrapped

Up and coming London-based duo SUNS is preparing to drop ‘We Were Kings’ EP and PopWrapped has the courtesy to exclusively premiere new track “The Void”.

SUNS is an up and coming London-based duo, formed by Andy McDonnell and Michael Tyrrell, who are right about to kick things off and rock the music scene. With their forthcoming debut EP scheduled to come out later this month, PopWrapped has the courtesy to exclusively premiere another great sample from it, “The Void”.

Starting off real slow with some soft keys and a minimal beat for the opening vocals to go by, the production picks up as we go, with more and more electronic elements added, and turns the track into a wonderful ballad-esque alt-pop tune, with sentimental lyrics and some butter-soft melancholic vocals. The melody is really intriguing, giving an atmospheric and ethereal feeling to the listener; it’s the rendition that shines here though, as the singing style and emotion take “The Void” to a whole different level.

“The Void” is the fourth and final track to premiere from the duo’s upcoming EP, We Were Kings, and is a follow-up to the title track, “Ella” and “Temple Boy”. The 4-track set was mastered by Mandy Parnell, while SUNS mixed it alongside Neil Comber and Donald Clarke. It is set to come out on October 16 via Taiyo? Records. For the time being, take a listen to the newly-aired track below.
