Almost every 90s kid probably remembers a time when they were jamming out with their friends to “Wannabe” or “I Want It That Way.” Hearing the hit songs from back then might be considered a throwback, but now the music from these popular bands might be making a comeback.
That’s right, The Spice Girls and The Backstreet Boys are in talks for a joint tour.
“The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it’s something we’re still talking about,” Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean told Rolling Stone.
Although the confirmation of the tour is still up in the air, the idea of two of the most popular 90s groups coming together for a tour is pretty exciting. Now that most of their original fans are older, we’ll be able to appreciate the music more than we did when we were kids. I have no idea which songs they could perform together, but it could be pretty epic nonetheless.
What songs would you look forward to hearing if this tour happens?
