Olivia Wilde Implies That Donald Trump Is ‘Really Sickening’

After Robert De Niro’s short film, Ellis, actress Olivia Wilde spoke about The US’s current stance on immigration, referring to a candidate as ‘sickening’.

Movie star Olivia Wilde did not mince words when allegedly speaking about Republican front runner Donald Trump.

When attending an exclusive screening for Robert De Niro’s short film Ellis, which tells the struggles of immigrants who entered the United States through New York’s Ellis Island, Wilde, whose thoughts were probably inspired by the subject of the film, told Page Six what she thought of a certain Presidential candidate and his stance on immigration:

Trump is well known for his hard-line opinion on immigration. Despite Wilde not actually naming him, Trump supporters were not lost on whom the actress was referencing, causing a Twitter backlash, with one tweeter even saying that she should go back where she came from — Ireland.

To which the actress coolly replied:

Olivia Wilde was born in New York but holds dual citizenship with Ireland through her father, who was raised there.
