YouTube Unveils Latest Updates, New Improvements For $9.99

The day has finally come upon us, when there could once again be ad-free YouTube! With a throwback feature comes a $9.99 rate per month, standard among all awesome media compilations. It is YouTube’s way to stay connected while standing out in this ever-increasing “binge watching” market.

The new features boost what makes YouTube unique, enhancing it with long sought after advancements. For instance, you can now exit out of the app, but the music will continue to play, plus you still get the varied ways that music is exhibited.

This new model also will come in sync with Google Play Music so that you will have access to both services. January 2016 will see original programming utilizing a number of entities that have become famous due to their following of this platform.

A small caveat, though, if you are an Apple person: the app will run you $12 on the Apple market. A YouTube spokesperson said, “As everyone knows, Apple charges an additional fee, so we’re passing that fee on.” This is due to the fact that Apple charges a 30% fee to sell stuff in their store; YouTube must charge more in that market to make the same profit.
