It’s not every-day you come across an artist who, after starting out in musical theatre in Tokyo, caught the attention of the legendary Joan Jett. But Kate Crash did exactly that and was subsequently signed to her Blackheart Records label. Crash, needless to say, hasn’t looked back, and having recorded an EP under the name Kate Crash & The UFO Club, she’s determined to continue entertaining the only way she knows how – with enthusiasm, undeniable energy and confidence.

Inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Crash makes a refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill pop artists so many of us have been unable to escape over the years, and PopWrapped are delighted to premiere the video for her new single “WTF Am I”, taken from the EP Play It Hard.

The track is a psychedelic dance number likely to have clubs and dance halls everywhere packed with patrons losing their minds to the rather hippy rhythm.
