Jeffrey Dean Morgan is coming to ‘The Walking Dead’ before the end of season 6! Can you guess which infamous character he will be playing?

OMG! This is very exciting news! Jeffrey Dean Morgan (aka Denny Duquette on Grey’s Anatomy) is coming to The Walking Dead for season 6 in the role of Negan. Morgan is set to bring comic book villain Negan to life toward the end of the current 6th season, which means my spring will be devoted to The Walking Dead. Hopefully, this also means he’ll be with us for season 7, as well.

Fans have been looking for this character to come to life over the years, even guessing that other characters were Negan but with a different name. Here’s what we know about comic book Negan: he is a killer, and, in the comics, he is the one who killed Glenn, according to Wikipedia. He’s said to be badder than the Governor and a pure form of sociopath. Negan is characterized as someone who is evil but will spare those he finds potentially useful — which means some of our folks should be okay. He also is known to carry a baseball bat wrapped in barbwire, which he has named Lucille. That is certainly an evil guy characteristic. I’ve never envisioned Morgan playing such a bad guy, so this will be a very interesting role. He’s going to be the villain I either love to hate or hate to love.

What do you think Walking Dead fans, will Jeffrey Dean Morgan play a good evil killer as Negan? Sound off in the comments and share your favorite role Morgan has played.
