So, I think we can all agree that Star Wars: The Force Awakens has really outdone Christmas this year. J. J. Abrams said after the big trailer aired there would be no more new footage, but hello TV spots!
The third one has got to be my favorite yet. The newest one is the 5th one and it focuses on Finn and his journey from Stormtrooper to potential hero. But there’s a moment in the third spot that gives me chills. That moment, my friends, is Han Solo in action firing his blaster! We see more Kylo Ren and Rey as well in these promos. Never have 30 seconds fulfilled my life in such a way as in these moments.
What do we know so far? Finn is a Stormtrooper who, it would appear, wants a different life, even so far as to yield a lightsaber.
Rey is a girl who we don’t know much about yet. Many speculate that she is Han and Leia’s child, but people also speculate that Kylo Ren could be her brother. We still haven’t seen Luke yet, though some believe he could be evil, but I prefer to think he’s leading a ‘Yoda’ type lifestyle. Watch the 5 TV spots below!
