Country music legend Hank Williams’ story will come to life in theaters, played by a very unlikely actor:

Tom Hiddleston, who you all know and love as Loki in the Thor/Avengers series, is playing the country musician. Does he fit the part? Why, yes he does. Hiddleston does an amazing job with this role from what we can see in the trailer.

The film also features Hiddleston’s rumored girlfriend, Elizabeth Olsen, playing Williams’ wife. The film is directed by Marc Abraham and enjoyed a premiere in Nashville back in October. Critics have raved about Hiddleston’s performance but have been “meh” about the film itself.

Watch the trailer and see if you have a hankering to go see it. I for one will most definitely pay good money to watch Hiddleston sing for the duration of the film. He really has a magnificent voice with a penchant for the country style.
