X-Men: Apocalypse Signals The Beginning Of The End With A Trailer

It’s finally here. What we’ve all — okay, all of us who are X-Men fans — been waiting for:

The end of the world!

I personally cannot wait to engage in sin beyond measure, break many laws, and just straight up fu–

What? What’s that you say? Oh, it’s not that type of Apocalypse?

Gee darnit. Golly me. Gosh darn it to heck.

Okay, while it’s not as exciting as the actual end of days, I suppose we can content ourselves with the knowledge that 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse has debuted a trailer today,  and everyone has been waiting with baited breath. Everyone who’s anyone, that is. Not that I was waiting for it … at all … haha nerds … yeah … *rapidly refreshing the internet*

This is going to be good, ya? Of course it is. Not like I’ve ever been disappointed by an X-Men movie before. *eye twitch*

Who’s looking forward to this big project? As a reminder, this is the synopsis floating around the interwebs regarding X-Men: Apocalypse‘s plot:

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
