Happy birthday Brad Pitt, you handsome devil!  In honor of the wonderful day the actor was brought on this Earth, we’d like to take a look back at his 5 best movie roles!  There are literally 75 to choose from according to his illustrious IMDB page, but we thought we’d make this 1000x more challenging by narrowing it down to just 5.  What made the cut?

Inglorious Basterds

This movie was that film you didn’t know was going to be phenomenal.  It was such a surprise and it still stands today as a classic – well, it will when it’s aged a bit more.  This movie was so funny!

Ocean’s Eleven

Wow!  This film, which spawned two sequels, one great and one not-so-great, changed the way movies are cast.  You used to see two or maybe three strong players in a movie, but after this hit brought out all the big guns, including George Clooney alongside Brad Pitt, we started seeing ensemble pieces.  Thank you for that, Daniel Ocean and crew!

Mr. And Mrs. Smith

This movie is an amazing action/romance piece and it’s remembered that way now.  When it came out, it was swarmed with controversy.  Regardless, it makes the list because of that fight scene in the house that ended with one of the hottest scenes in cinematic history.

World War Z

This zombie flick changed the pace from what we’d been used to in the zombie film world.  We were used to The Walking Dead, which featured slow moving zombies, not ones that could sprint.  This movie was truly terrifying and Brad Pitt was an amazing family man and hero.

This one is so good we can’t even talk about it without breaking the first rule!  So, if you’ve never seen it, go check it out.  It’s the man’s birthday, so celebrate!
