Cosby broke his internet silence after being charged with “three counts of aggravated sexual assault.” One of these charges was from 2004, where Cosby allegedly drugged and assaulted a female Philadelphia University official.

The official, Andrea Constand, has come forward about her trauma and has waived her right to remain anonymous. While Cosby has had several other women claiming to have been assaulted, Constand’s is the first legal action.

Cosby appeared in court on Dec. 30, 2015 in Elkins Park, PA. He was charged with one count of indecent assault and ordered to hand over his passport. The courts set his bail at $1M, and he made bail shortly after at $100,000 (10% of the total).

Mr Crosby, best known for his time on The Cosby Show, has been advised not to enter into a plea deal. Despite this advisment, his lawyer refuses to admit his client’s wrongdoing, saying the charges against him are politically motivated.

Fans are taking angrily to their keyboards on the heels of Cosby’s breach of silence.

“Even after over 50 women came forward, you still question them. You are a disgrace to women,” said a poster with the handle, Mug Tea Coffee.

“Wow. What about all of us ex-fans with an ounce of common sense and respect for women,” asked Steve Spooner.

ET Online previously released a chronological list of assault claims against Cosby. The allegations supposedly go back to 1965.

It just goes to show you: your past can come back to haunt your present.
