Move over Lindsay Sterling, Ezinma is in the building.
Nebraska native Ezinma (pronounced eh-zee-mah) is a classically trained violinist, vocalist, and composer who has performed with legendary artists including the likes of Yo-Yo Ma and Stevie Wonder. The talented musician has also performed in the orchestra on the high ranking TV show America’s Got Talent. Since moving to New York City to pursue a Masters in Violin performance her passion for music has grown even stronger.
Eznima’s musical influences range from the classical stylings of Debussy and Bach to the more modern ODESZA and Flying Lotus. She uses these influences to create a swirl of sound that characterize her unique style .

Right out of the gate I really enjoy how upbeat this song is. The song encourages listeners to dance (and I am not a dancer to say the least Ha!). The lyrics paint me a picture of what she is trying to tell her listeners. Near the end of the song you can hear her fantastic violin skills. You can tell why she mastered in violin performance in the first place; she is fantastic at her craft.
Ezinma’s vocals, music and violin performance really makes this song a hit for me. I can see this being played on the radio or at a club to get anyone dancing to the beat . “Disco Bitch” has a lot of wonderful things, but for me without a doubt the bringing in of the violin really is what makes this song a true success.
